I have trained and worked in the the life sciences for over ten years, with experience both in industrial and academic settings. I am primarily interested in supporting ideas that may help improve health outcomes, through innovation in either diagnostic or therapeutic. To achieve that end, I am medically trained and hence mindful of needs in the public health and clinical systems. In addition, I have worked on on improving cancer diagnostics through a combination of molecular and computational approaches.

I'm about to complete a degree in Biological Sciences, and want to put my degree to good use. I'm particularly interested in the intersection of biology and technology, and have a business background through my own endeavours with startups and via a consulting internship at a company that specialized in consulting for startups.
So far the corporate route doesn't appeal to me, I prefer the dynamism of working in a smaller more agile business.
